It's really a surprise to me when recieving the email from bain consulting notifying me that I 've passed their resume
screening...
My background: I come from Shanghai and acquired my bachelor degree in SHU, a realtively unfamous 211 university in
shanghai....and i'm currently in my postgraduate education in HKU...
I received the call around 12 o'clock(missed once in the morning because I was in class that time).....
And at that time, I was in a noisy place and asked the intervewer to call me back 15 minutes later......
After 15 minutes, the call came.....He let me made an brief introduction and told him why I choose Bain
company....Actually, his voice was not loud enough for me to hear clearly.
And then, he asked me about my internship experience. I specified some details and then he wanted to know why I choose
Bain becoz there r many consulting companies outside.
I gave him some general reasons and also metioned my personal unique insight. In this point, he said "good".

In closing, i thanks for his consideration and expressed my sincere hope for the opportunity to work with him in the future
and said bye bye. That's all.

Actually, in the notification email for call interview, they said it will be a mandarin ability test. So, I never prepared for
this interview (Shld i need to prepare for mandarin test???)... However, acutally, it's totally an english interview.....So, I
did not well prepare for that and I guessed that some of my sentences are not that well-orgnized especially in grammar.....

By the way, I firstly cannot figure out why they choose me as their candidate. Because my undergraduate school is not
that renowned while education background especially your school is a very important requirement in consulting world.
And after his self-introduction, I thought I know the reason, beause he is also a Shanghainese in Hong Kong. So, "Lao
Xiang" is very important......(Just my guess)

Whatever the result, many thx for this call interview opportunity.
