Instruction to fill BQF columns
(1) By supplier Supplier shall make reference to the number of technical specification, drawings,
International Codes and to the paragraph he intends to present a deviation.
(2) By supplier Supplier shall indicate, in brief, the content or the requirement he intends to present
a deviation.
(3) By Supplier Supplier shall indicate the alternative he intends to propose in lieu of the technical
Requirements of GE Oil&Gas. Supplier shall provide his comments and proposal with sufficient
detail, providing duly referenced attachments, brochures, articles, etc.., . taking into account that
the acceptance or rejection by GE Oil&Gas of the alternative proposed by supplier shall be based
on such details.
(4) By GE Oil&Gas Engineer in charge to evaluate the Technical Proposal made by Supplier shall
fill any technical comment to the point raised by Supplier.
(5) By GE Oil&Gas Engineer in charge to evaluate the Technical Proposal shall state the
acceptability (Accepted) or the rejection (Rejected) of the qualification of the Supplier.
(6) By GE Oil&Gas Engineer in charge to evaluate the Technical Proposal can use the column to fill
other notes and consideration if required.
Other Notes:
After the evaluation of the proposal, the Supplier shall be returned with the Qualification Form
completed by GE Oil&Gas.
Supplier, if required, shall resubmit the proposal taking into account to rejected points which shall be
them amended until they become acceptable by GE Oil&Gas.
14.1. Document/Specification order of Priority:

Following order of precedence shall be considered:
1) Applicable Safety Regulation & Local Legislation;
2) This specification;
3) Customer/Project Specifications (and Codes & Standards references);
4) GE Oil & Gas standards.
Supplier shall clearly notify, in the BQF, any discrepancy found between above listed
Documents/Specification.
However the most restrictive requirements shall be followed

the end of discharge period
Tt coefficient as defined by IEEE 1115 curves vs discharging time, covering the range from one minute to
the end of discharge period and temperature, covering the specified operation range
Preliminary layout of the battery rack
Battery equivalent discharge cycle (as per ITN61506 para. 3.6)

15.3. Document content
All documents shall comply with ITK28300.08 minimum documentation content for
Battery. Documents not according to above mentioned requirement will be rejected.
15.4. Documentation approval

The minimum time for comments/approval of documentation for this project will be at
least 6 weeks from receipt of acceptable drawing complete of all project labels and
compliant with ITK28300.08.
Critical drawings approval (if not commented/approved after 6 weeks) shall not stop
production.
If the 6 weeks are elapsed and one drawing is becoming critical for production,
supplier shall inform GE Oil&Gas at least 1 week before.
GE Oil&Gas will never accept any production delay for late document approval if not
timely advised.
15.5. Documentation re-submission after comments:

- Resubmission after GE comments to 1st issue in order to made document
compliant with customer requirements and ITK28300.00 and ITK28300.08
requirements: No more than 3 working days.
- For documents resubmission after official CUSTOMER/GE comments, the
following two steps maximum time shall be considered:
Comments analysis with reply/clarifications (if any): No more than 3 working days
Doc. Resubmission after clarification closing: No more than 5 working days
