the position of Assurance Associate at SyCip Gorres Velayo & Co. As the Assistant Dean of the
School of Business and Economics of the university and as his professor for the Strategic
Management Course, I have first-hand knowledge of the students capabilities and I believe Mr.
Cavalida has the skills and knowledge required for the position.

I have known Mr. Cavalida for the past year, which includes my stint as his professor during the
said course above. This rigorous course implemented by the Universitys Accountancy
Department puts students under much pressure and mental labor in analyzing the situations
and circumstances that surrounds every entity thus making him critically capable. He showed
good results during his stay in the university and was awarded Summa Cum Laude upon
recommendation of the Deans Office. Likewise, his showing as the 5 th placer of the recent
board shows his ready for the job.
