TYPICAL INSTALLATION FOR STEAM FLOW METER

UPSTREAM AND DOWNSTREAM IMPULSE PIPING CONNECTION POSITION

D is pipe diameter.
Upstream impulse piping connection (high pressure) is recommended at the port
with distance (D), calculated from the center of the port to inlet of Orifice plate.
Downstream impulse piping connection (low pressure) is recommended at the port
with distance (1/2D), calculated from the center of the port to outlet of Orifice
plate.
For example: 10 steam flow meter, D distance is about 248.8 mm, 1/2D distance
is about 124.4 mm.
Note: Two condensate pots at high pressure side and low pressure side must be
installed in same height.

Note 1 : Typical impulse piping size.

Note 2 : Condensate pot with vent screw is for convenience of bleeding gas from manifold pipes.
Note 3 : Keep the two condensate pots at the same height.
Note 4 : Orifice plate, differential pressure transmitter, 3-valve manifold, two condensate pots and integrator are included
in our offer and supplied in loose, assembly will be made by customer.
Note 5 : All pipes, unions, flanges, globe valves, tees, fittings, drain valves and plugs, mounting brackets and support,
orifice flanges are supplied and assemblied by customer. All wiring connections are made by customer.
