Professional experience: I have worked with major International NGO & Red Cross in
Pakistan/Afghanistan and Bangladesh. This include International Federation of Red Cross and Red
Crescent Societies and Save the Children. I have 10 years of progressive experience in multi sectoral
Humanitarian Response & preparedness, Disaster Risk Management and emergency response (field)
management. Having been at lead positions I bring along hands on experience in Multisectoral
Program assessment, design, proposal writing, programme management, strategic and tactical
planning, administration, security, Human Resource and budget management, donor/Government
relations, organizational development, representation with public and civil society organizations.

Donors: I have experience of fundraising and managing the grants of major institutional donors
including DFID, ECHO, CIDA, AUSAID, OFDA, DEC, DANIDA, Emergency response fund (ERF). I also
worked in partnership with UNHCR, WFP and IOM.

Sectors: I have developed and implemented programs in the sectors of emergency response
(Shelter/NFI & WASH, food aid, food security and livelihoods, cash transfer programming, child
protection, education, health, psychosocial support), emergency preparedness and Disaster Risk
Reduction (DRR).

Type of emergencies (Humanitarian crisis): I worked in humanitarian responses both in natural

disaster (floods, earthquake) and manmade disasters (conflict/IDPs) as well as sudden onset and
complex emergencies both in camp and off camp setting (with host population).

Geographic areas: I have designed projects and worked with diversified communities having different
socio economic status, cultural values and demographics in all provinces of Pakistan (Punjab, Sindh,
AJK and KPK) and in Bangladesh.

I am highly organized and efficient person which has produced excellent results to date. Able to
manage own time effectively, and prioritize workload. Experienced at working to tight deadlines and
under considerable pressure. Friendly and approachable with excellent interpersonal and English
language skills.
