METHOD STATEMENT FOR REMOVAL OF PRECAST VENT

STEPS

1. Tie the vent by a rope to ensure the stability. See figure 1

2. Hack off the bottom cement screed using the electrical breaker. See figure 2

3. Find out the connecting rods embedded inside the screed at the bottom of the PC
vent. See figure 3

4. Hack off the top concrete screed right above the same locations of the bottom
connecting rods to remove the connection of the rod with the top screed.

5. Hack off the side connection screed using the electrical breaker. See figure 5.

6. Remove the PC vent carefully and laid on a flat surface. See Figure 6
