Definition of Sexual Orientation
- Sexual orientation is about
who youre attracted to and
want to have relationships
with.
- Your sexual orientation
and identity can remain the
same throughout your life.
Or it can vary depending
on who youre attracted to,
or romantically partnered or sexually active with.

Types of Sexual Orientation

Heterosexual

- a personally significant and meaningful

romantic and/or sexual attraction primarily
to adults of the opposite sex.
- an enduring pattern of emotional,
romantic, and/or sexual attractions to
persons of the opposite sex.

Homosexual

- romantic attraction, sexual

attraction or sexual behavior between
members of the same sex or gender.
- a person who is sexually attracted to
people of their own sex.
 Bisexual

- people who experience sexual and

emotional attractions and feelings for both
sex.

Asexual

- someone who does not experience

sexual attraction toward individuals of
any gender.
- you dont feel sexual desire or arousal,
or a way that makes you think sex or
sexual touching with that person would
be satisfying.
