Sixteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Notice in todays gospel that while everybody was asleep, an enemy came and sowed
weeds among the wheat. Our children are growing up among dangerous weeds. At a
time when children need more guidance, often we are asleep. We must stay alert and
engaged with our children.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord!

328 Holy Hours were kept before the Blessed Sacrament this past week. Our
goal is to place two people on every hour. Please do not interpret this as a Take
turns Holy Hour! It is not! It is a method to give a little relief to our Day
Captains and to strengthen our program. When you commit to an Hour, you
are saying to Our Lord Jesus Christ, that you will visit with Him each week,
same time, same day, without fail; (except in case of emergency.) This is the person
who gives you every breath you take, worthy of a visit each week. Vacant Hours:
Sunday4-5pm, Wednesday 4-5pm, if interested call 330-690-9661. Open hours for
partnership Monday 8-9am, Tuesday 5-6pm, Friday 7-8am, noon-1 pm, 3-4pm and
Saturday 11-noon. What is in your heavenly treasure chest?

St. Augustine Culture of life is thrilled to announce the closing of two northeast Ohio abortion
facilities. Closed are the Akron Women's Medical Group at 629 E. Market St. and its parent
company Cleveland Medical Group at 3461 Warrensville Center at Warrensvillle Center Rd. The
Akron facility has a long and lurid history. Abortion providers do not acknowledge let alone
provide post abortion counseling for the psychological effects to women who later regret their
abortions. Every Wednesday from 1:00-2:00 pm St. Augustine Culture of life holds a Holy Hour
for Religious Freedom and to end abortion, there in the prayer "To the Mother of God" we
beseech Mary "Defend me with your power against all enemies, especially against those who
hide their malice behind a mask of virtue." The Culture of Life meets the First Tuesday of every
month in the rectory following Mass and Benediction. For more information contact Lynn

As we are nearing the completion of our New Pipe Organ, we are now in the
voicing and tuning stage. It is imperative that silence is maintained in the
church. Soon we will enjoy the voice of our beautiful pipe organ. Thank you for
your patience.
