Rahma

Kia ora Rahma, today was a very quiet day and I could see that you were enjoying the peace and quiet. Rahma,
there were many activities set out for everyone to enjoy and you decided on the creative experiences this
morning. Rahma, you were very engrossed in the playdough activity, I could see you creating some beautiful
pieces of playdough art. You were using the shape cutters to make some of your art and then you decided to
sprinkle some sparkly glitter on your creations. It was great observing you creating and gathering ideas from you
peers.

Rahma not only were you drawn to the playdough experience but you were also drawn to the painting area
today, as this was another way for you to express your creative side. Rahma, teacher Mahirah and I were
watching you and you were creating a beautiful, colourful flower. You used many colours to create and you even
mixed some colours together too. Rahma, you are really enjoying expressing yourself through art and creative
experiences and it is great that you feel comfortable enough to express yourself through such creative mediums.
This really portrays to me that you have a sense of belonging here at preschool and that you know your
contribution matters to our environment. I look forward to watching your creative side blossom as you continue
to hone your skills.
