Boris Johnson, in a cringeworthy attempt to define Britains foreign policy post Brexit, suggested
reviving ties with the erstwhile Commonwealth as a way to mitigate the crushing impact of being
kicked out of Europe. While his ideas were widely ridiculed, as they usually are, he may have
inadvertently stumbled across a real idea there. The purpose of this essay is to attempt to derive a
full-fledged multi-pronged global strategy from Boris incontinent ramblings, one that justifies itself
in sufficient short, medium and long term geopolitical gains to overcome the hesitations of history.
