MIAMI, July 17, 2017 Faster data speeds and better overall network performance. Thats
what upgrades to more than 130 AT&T* cell sites means for customers in South Florida. The

Florida networks. Our investments will help customers get the most out of their mobile
devices.

AT&T spent nearly $975 million from 2014 to 2016 to upgrade our wireless and wireline
networks in Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. In 2016, we:
Upgraded about 1,000 cell sites with extra capacity.
Turned up 5 new cell sites.
Rolled out mobile cell sites for 4 large events.
Turned on an outdoor distributed antenna system at Hard Rock Stadium to boost
coverage in the parking lot for tailgaters.
