EXTRA CREDIT RUBRIC

Read the Scientific Article of the Month, and write an essay about what you
learned. Your essay must include:

1. A brief summary of the scientific article

2. Three specific things you found interesting about the article
3. An idea for an experiment you could design based off the article

ESSAY RUBRIC

3 points: Double-spaced, 12-point font, and minimum of 250 words (one page)

2 points: Correct spelling and grammar

10 points: Excellent summary of journal article

10 points: Three things you found interesting about the article

5 points: Brief description of an experiment you could design based off the
article
