It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Miss Hallie Utter
C who I have known for two years. Hallie has minors in math and language arts and a
COLLABORATIVE 3.94 GPA, but in addition, she has played and coached varsity softball, and served on
the executive board for the SMEA, a student organization at Ferris State University.
H As part of this Registered Student Organization, she arranged for presentations

relevant to the field of education for students in the School of Education.

While a student and teacher candidate, Hallie has been organized, punctual, and
reliable. She plans engaging instruction for diverse learners and has experience in
suburban and rural schools. In addition to her classroom and field experiences, Hallie
earned the Presidents Award for being a top scholar athlete.

I am confident she will be effective at building relationships with students and parents,
planning instruction, and assessing learning. Miss Hallie Utter will be a dependable
and caring classroom teacher who will set high expectations and facilitate student
growth. She is the person who will go beyond expectations, who will be involved in
curriculum development and extra-curricular student activities. I recommend her
