RE: Juliettes Boutique v. White

I had an interview with John Jason, Pres. of Juliettes Boutiques yesterday about some collection
matters, particularly the Nancy White matter.

Apparently during her employment as manager of its 2478 Prince Andrew Drive South store,
their was a shortage of $8,426.65. John told me that Mrs. White had been an excellent manager
but had some very difficult personal family problems. They did not wish to make her situation
even more difficult & therefore agreed to let her repay this shortage by monthly payments of
$500.00. At that time her employment was terminated.

To date she has repaid $3,500.00 but has failed to make payments for the last 2 months. John
advised me that there Human Resources people had tried to talk to her, but she refused to meet
with them or provide any info.to explain her defaulted payments.

John feels they had been as generous in their treatment of Mrs. White as possible. In view of her
consultation with John Hamid (see letter attached) Juliettes wish Mrs. White to repay the
balance as soon as possible

I am to write to Smith, Fraser to clarify the situation. If no satisfactory assurance repayment will
be resumed we are to commence legal proceedings.
