Burmese: Lost and Found

Seas of idle chatter

It doesnt matter. Hollow
Noises scatter against apathy
I amble absently blind
My reality reflected inside
Any frail, dried connection
It died that day
Was swept away quietly
Dull, grey and insignificant
Then something magnificent grew
From munificent, new perception
Creativity. Curiousity. Complexion. Competence
Glorious conception of autonomy
Love for astronomy flourished
With ideonomy and lucidity
I craved validity again
The stupidity of man
Thinking it can last
I began to ponder
As people wander by
Growing fonder of community
Longing for unity again
No immunity to this
The temporary bliss deteriorating
It is, perhaps greed
That I need more
I concede I feel
Guilt, but zeal greater
I kneel to you
Your genuine, true friendship
Thanks to this class
With the impasse gone
The glass will shatter
