PLS Flow Transmitter FIT-6006
PLS Flow Transmitter FIT-6006
PLS Flow Transmitter FIT-6006
1. We checked the basic setup parameters on the Instrument (field device) and SCADA
(Control Room HMI) and the result is the same setting as follows;
3. Checked mounting location/method and cross check with the manual book, we found
that the instrument was installed on the highest point of the pipeline which could
introduce entrained air or gas bubble formation in the measuring tube which can result
in an increase in measuring errors (iso metric drawing attached).
Mounting location suggested by the manufacturer on the manual book, to minimize the
measuring error.
4. Found that Operation using the totalizer on the SCADA which is trigger by pulse signal
from the field device, which will give a pulse every 1.0 m3 with the pulse width of
500ms. We recommend to carry out a reading on the SCADA and field device every
shift for 3 or 5 days and compare the results.
