My Personal and Professional Goals

My name is Kimone Wright. I believe that a goal is a desired result. Throughout my life, I have
set several goals. Some of these goals, I have accomplished, while others, I am yet to
accomplish. However, these goals provide me with a sense of direction and purpose. With my
goals in mind, I am better able to organize my time and use my resources wisely so that I can
make the best out of every opportunity. When setting goals, I ensure that they are specific,
measurable, attainable, realistic, and timely.

Short-term Goals
My short-term goals are purposely aligned with my long-term vision. Some of my short-term
goals include:
Passing my NCLEX within six (6) weeks after graduating with my Bachelor of Science
in Nursing (BSN) degree
Working in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit or a Labor and Delivery floor within a month
after passing my NCLEX
Being able to donate at least $5,000 to my church within 2 years after graduating with
my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree

Long-term Goals
My long-term goals are goals that I plan to achieve in a few years. Some of these goals include:
Getting accepted into a neonatal nurse practitioner (NNP) or nurse midwifery program
within 2-3 years after graduating with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
Starting a Childrens Home and/or an Assisted Living Facility within 5 years after
graduating with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
Being able to donate school supplies yearly to less fortunate children within 5 years after
graduating with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
