 Introduction:

The IIT JAM is the national level entrance exam conducted jointly by the Indian Institutes of
Technology(IITs) and Indian Institutes of Science(IISc) to admit the student for the master
degree such as M.Sc., M.Sc.-PhD. dual degree, Joint M.Sc.- Ph.D., MTech., Integrated PhD.
at IITs and IISc.

There are more than ten thousand students appear for the IIT JAM exam every year and
student with the high ranking and good score card is admitted to the prominent IITs and
IISc.

The IIT JAM exam is conducted by the different IITs on the rotational basis. This year the IIT
JAM 2018 is conducted by the Bombay IIT.
