Lankford and his wife, Carolyn, continue to live
within the Webb City R-7 School District. During his
33 years with the R-7, he was a principal of both the
junior high and senior high and was an associate
superintendent under Ron Barton. He was super-
intendent for 12 years prior to officially retiring and
working in Jefferson City.
