    Defect : PROTECTION OF STEEL REINFORCEMENT FROM CORROSION

    Equipment(s):
    Mechanical mixer
    Brush
    Bucket
    Scoop

    Repair Material(s):
    Cement
    Water

    Repair Procedures:

    1. Removal of rust, dirt and oil from steel reinforcement surface


    2. Prepare a brushable cement slurry mix
    3. Apply the cement slurry on the steel reinforcement surface by brushing
    4. Allow the cement slurry to dry under normal condition
    5. Check the application result after completely dry
    6. Re-apply the cement slurry on steel reinforcement if required
    7. Repeat steps 4 6 until satisfactory result achieved
