    Subject: School Disaster Consciousness Month

    Date: July 1, 2017

    1. In accordance with Executive Order No. 137 of 1999 Declaring the month of July every year as
    National Disaster Consciousness Month, will be observed from July 1-31, 2017. All schools are
    directed to plan and undertake significant and meaningful activities anchored on disaster
    preparedness.

    2. In relation to this, there will be activities/contest related in the celebration of National Disaster
    Consciousness Month. All teaching & non-teaching personnel and pupils are encouraged to
    participate in different activities.

    Short Informational Talkof the School Disaster Risk Reduction Coordinator about
    Disaster Preparedness on July 1, 2017 right after the Flag Ceremony.
    Integration of Disaster Preparednessin any subject area in everyday teaching and
    learning process is highly recommended especially on July 14, 2017.

    3. Immediate dissemination of this memorandum is earnestly desired.
