I am eager to respond to the listing for Secretary to the Counselor that was posted on the Conroe ISD
website.

During the past nine years I have had the privilege of working in school office settings where I have
learned to wear many hats in the performance of my duties. These duties have included supporting the
administrative staff by maintaining confidential student academic records, composing and editing
newsletters, ordering supplies, maintaining the student attendance records database for the student
body, answering multi-line phones, and greeting the public, in addition to many others. I have also
worked to continue my education by earning a bookkeeping certificate and by taking courses toward an
AAS in Accounting. These combined experiences have given me strong skills that you might find valuable
in the position of Secretary to the Counselor.
