Design of lift/shear wall

The lift wall has been designed as the reinforced wall, monolithic

to the other structural members which are subjected to the direct

compression.

The lift is a type of vertical transport equipment that efficiently moves

people or goods between floors of a building, vessel or other structure.

Conclusion

acquired knowledge about the design of RCC buildings more deeply

and theoretically and practically
The pure intention of this project was academic only,
but we have made an effort to make it feasible for the real construction
as well
Effective use of SAP2000
We are able to develop our knowledge to decrease the gap between
academic and professional use.

INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING
THAPATHALI CAMPUS
Recommendation

Wind load is to be considered if it is subjected to wind load higher

than earthquake load.
The construction of water tanks is to be considered.
Construction of ramps in parking is to be considered.
