Sr. No.

Procedure
1 OCCW pump should be under No Work Permit
2 CW Pump should be running.
3 MCC has to be ON.
4 Open inlet MOV of OCCW filter.
5 Open vent of suction filter. After the venting, close the vent.
6 Open outlet MOV of OCCW filter.
7 Open inlet MOV of OCCW and check the logic of filter PLC.
8 Check the pressure at suction of OCCW( Pressure >1ksc)
9 Open the vent of PHE of OCCW side.
10 Release the EPB.
11 Start the pump.
Discharge MOV should automatically open at delay of 2 secs, else open it from local or
12 DCS.
13 After the release of air from the vent close the vent.
14 Check the discharge presssure locally.
Check the motor and pump in field for any abnormal sound, excessive heating or
15 abnormal vibration. In case of discrepancy, contact DCS or press the EPB to protect
the equipment.

Procedure
Check the level of expansion tank. If level is low then fill the expansion tank. CCCW will trip if
expansion tank level is less than 15%
Ensure that pump is under No work permit.
MCC has to be ON.
Check if the suction filter DP switch is normal in DCS. If DP is high, then clean the suction filter.
Open the inlet MOV of CCCW pump.
Open the inlet and outlet MOV of CCCW line for PHE.
Release the EPB
Start the pump.
Do the venting through given vents in the circuit and after the complete air removal, close the
vents.
Check the pressure at suction of CCCW pump. (Pressure at suction should be approx 2ksc at local
pressure gguage.)
Discharge MOV shall open automatically after 2 secs else open it in local or from DCS.
Discharge Pressure at pump discharge should be around 5ksc.

Check the motor and pump in field for any abnormal sound, excessive heating or abnormal
vibration. In case of discrepancy, contact DCS or press the EPB to protect the equipment.

1 Check that instrument air must be available to operate control valve
2 AUX header should be in charged condition
3 CEP should be in running stage for water supply
4 1 fan of GSC must be in running
5 GSC siphon must be filled in water
6 Gland Steam Header all drains should be in open condition
7 Now open Shut off valve after that open C.V slightly for warming
8 When steam will start coming from drains than close all drain valves
9 Now open C.V more according to pressure and temperature in Gland Steam Header
10 Than open Spray C.V to maintain temperature of Steam going to LPT
S.NO PROCEDURE
1 Check that power supply must be available for Drain MOV.
2 Check that DE-Watering pump in running condition
3 When Debris fillter DP goes high than start agitator motor
4 After that open drain MOV to blowdown CW.

1 Check thrust bearing oil level is normal
2 Check sump level is normal
3 Check that EPB is released
4 Check Winding and Bearing temperature is normal
5 Discharge MOV should be closed and in DCS mode
6 Check that CT fan (At least 7 fan) are running
7 Open recirculation valve 100%
8 Fill discharge line by CT make up pump
9 Open all vents of CW pipe line and water box
10 Open both side of CW inlet and outlet MOV
11 Take at least 7 risers in line
12 After checking all permissive start CW pump and monitor that Discharge MOV will open in auto
13 After venting close water box vent and other CW vent will close automatically if not than close it manually

2 Remove all debris and scaffolding around pump side

4 Recording instruments must accurately calibrated
5 Fire fighting system must be in service
6 EH oil as per standard quality i.e. NAS Value<6
7 Thermometre,Pressure Gauge, Differential gauge must be qualified
8 Protection and Acs commissioning should be completed
9 Motor greasing must be done with required lubricating Grease
10 Tank oil level is in normal condition i.e. > 595cm
11 Cooling water pressure should be normal i.e. P=4-5 Ksc
12 All 6 filters and 3 suction strainer must cleaned.
Check accumulator pressure of Close oil I/L stop valve of accumulator, Open oil
drainage stop valve accumulator,nitrozen pressure of accumulator and must be
13 9.3Mpa

14 2 Nos of suction isolation of EH oil pump should be in open condition


19 Mcc available for all pumps
20 Heater must be in service
21 Qualified silica gel must be filled in Air filter
START EH oil pump check starting current, normal operation
22 current,vibration,noise,bearing temp and outlet hydraulic pressure
23 Properly check is there any leakage in system
24 Set overflow valve setting value i.e.=17Mpa
25 Adjust EH oil pump outlet pressure i.e.=14.5Mpa

TEMPERATURE CONTROL CIRCUIT


S.NO PROCEDURE

Temperature switch can sent the signal to control relay and water line valve
1 (electromagnetic valve). When temperature will rises higher than 57c than valve will
open and cooling water will go through cooler when temperature will come to 37c
than valve will shut down.
2 Ensure circulating water pump will be in Auto start/stop according to temp switch

Oil Filteration System


S.NO PROCEDURE
1 One Regenerative Pump is there for oil filtration
2 Ensure that operation of pump is working properly, Oil from pump disc passing
through filter and return back to EH Oil Tank.
3 Heater should be in service we start and stop heater through push at the time of
requirement

2 Hot well level normal > 600mm
3 Suction Valve open
4 Steiner is to be cleaned and suction DP must be normal
5 CCCW is in running condition with normal pressure amd temperature
6 Cooling water isolation valve and winding cooling isolation valve must be open
7 Hot well makeup pump is in running for proper sealing, Normal sealing water
pr=3bar and Cooling water pr=4.5-5bar
8 Vacuum recirculation valve/- vent opened condition
9 Discharge valve closed
10 Oil level normal
11 MCC no failure
12 EPB released

13 All condensate header is have to be filled with water and air is have to be removed
by proper venting
14 Steiner venting is also be done
15 Recirculation Vale will be 100% opened
16 Compressor should be in running condition with 4-5bar pressure
17 All root valves of transmiter,switches and gauge is have to be open and ensure that
they show right value
18 Open header vent before GSC and open drain valve before NRV and after MOV
19 Start the pump, discharge valve must open in auto, it is not than open it manually
20 Check discharge pressure, normal pr=18-20bar
21 Check sealing pressure after self sealing in line
22 Check bearing temp,vibration,winding tempreature,if it is ok than start makeup to
deaerator

1 Start boiler filling pump and charge condensate header
2 Open isolation valve at 6mtr elevation i.e. Boiler filling to condensate header
3 For proper venting open 6mtr and 24mtr vent valve
4 Fill water up to CEP discharge valve
5 Open all root valve of pressure transmitter switch in condensate system
6 Open all LP heater tube side vent
7 Open LP heaters I/L valve and O/L valve to charge the heater and close water side by pass
valve
8 Open I/L and O/L valve of GSC and close bypass valve
9 Charge all spray line, such as LP bypass spray LP hood spray, LP by pass exhaust spray.
S.NO PROCEDURE
1 Check lube oil pump running and vacuum breaker should be in close condit
2 Start Hot well make-up pump
3 Check Manual filling isolation valve as well as auto filling solenoid valve
should be in open condition to make-up separator tank
4 Close Manual filling isolation valve (Near separator tank) after tank level
reach up to 80-90%.
5 Check power supply to Start recirculation pump and check discharge
pressure >0.1 Mpa
6 After recirculation pump started if separator tank level is going to down
condition then open manual make up valve according to requirement.
7 Check at least one OCCW is running and vacuum pump PHE must be
charged

8 Ensure all 3 drain isolation valve (1st Drain In casing drain,2nd drain In
recirculation discharge line,3rd drain In separator tank) must be in closed
condition.
Check main vacuum pump suction line from condenser at 6mtr manual
9 isolation
Check atvalve
0mtr should
before in open condition
isolation valve drain should be in tightly closed
10 condition
11 Open manual isolation valve in vacuum pump main suction line at 0mtr.

12 Check instrument air must be charge to operate solenoid valve in vacuum


pump main suction line at 0mtr
13 Check power supply of main vacuum pump should be in healthy condition
14 Check all start permissive on DCS must be in healthy condition
15 Start Main Vacuum Pump and Check main suction solenoid valve must be
open in auto.
16 Observe all parameters and abnormalities
