9:15-9:30am Introduction: Welcome students and introduce myself
Calendar
o This daily activity includes: identify the month, sing the Days of the Week Song, count
how many days we have been in school.

9:30-9:45am Get to know your classmates! Sit in a big circle and play
The name game
o Roll a beach ball back and forth to each other when the student will say their first name
and favorite animal. Then the student will roll the ball to the next student.
9:45-10:15am Discuss classroom rules and behavior management chart
Discuss bathroom rules. Model the in use sign and using the sink before students use the
bathroom.
o Bathroom break
Discuss Number order and seating colors. Model how to standup/push in chairs and walk to
carpet area. Model than practice getting in number order by calling students to line up.

1. Students will line up by number next to their
cubbies.
2. Students will be in a straight row
3. Students will face forward with their hands at
their sides
4. Students will be quiet in line so they can hear the
teachers instructions.
 Table Rules:
1. Sit with your feet on floor and keep your hands to
yourself.
2. Face forward so you can see the teacher.
3. Listen and be quiet when the teacher is talking.
4. Raise your hand if you have a question or need
help.
5. Share supplies at your table
6. Keep your work area clean.
 Rug Rules
1. Sit on your assigned seat.

restroom you may get up
and go.
1. Move your clip to

2. Check bathroom sign.
If it is in use, go back
to your seat until it is
open. Be sure to
change the sign
outside the door to
in-use.
3. When you are done,
flush the toilet.
4. Wash and Dry your
hands.
5. Turn off the light.
