captures our innovation philosophy: keep it simple and
keep it real.
We believe yogurt is meant to be simple: just milk and
cultures. So while the names of our probiotics may be
hard on the tongue, theres nothing complicated or over
fussed about our products.
Thats my promise to you: to make our yogurt the right
way, not the easy way, and to inspire you to experience
the enjoyment that comes from eating simple, delicious,

profits to passionate individuals working towards positive, long
lasting change. Through local and national outreach, Chobanis
philanthropic initiatives have supported over 50 groups to date,
and have had a direct impact on funding several programs, including
famine relief efforts in Somalia, emergency response aid in Haiti,
and a state-of-the-art field for Central New York little leaguers.

Shepherds Gift is a charitable foundation created in honor of my mother. She lived her life
in the spirit of the shepherdas someone who gave expecting nothing in return, which Ive
always carried with me and my work. Im hopeful these shepherds will carry on the gift of

quickly followed suit.
Today, Chobani is the #1 Greek Yogurt brand in America.
Hamdis Chenango County yogurt plant, which used to see
one milk truck a day, now uses over three million pounds of
milk a day and ships nearly 2 million cases each week. Ulukaya
spearheaded development on Chobanis second production
facility in Twin Falls, Idaho, which was completed in just 326
days following a $450 million investment. At nearly one million
square feet, the new Twin Falls plant is the worlds largest
yogurt manufacturing facility, capable of processing ten million
pounds of milk a day.
Under Hamdis leadership, Chobani has grown from five
employees to over 3,000 strong globally. Amidst this rapid
expansion, Hamdi has managed to keep a cohesive, conta-
gious culture alive and well in his booming facility. From the
companys offices and production facilities, to its relationships
with its local communities and farmers, business partners and
