Dear Neighbor,
As your newly elected State Representative for the 147th Leg-
islative District, I want to take a moment to introduce myself
and share with you not only my thoughts on how we can make
our communities even better, but how I plan to represent your
interests in Harrisburg.
I have enjoyed many years of serving our community, as well
as working in county government and the private sector. I served
as first deputy to the Montgomery County Clerk of Courts and
more recently to the Montgomery County Recorder of Deeds.
In addition to my county service, I held key positions of trust for
several small businesses.
As a long-time resident of western Montgomery County, I
have always had the desire to initiate improvements that ben-
efit our communities and families. And while words cannot ex-
press how honored I am to have been elected to represent you
in Harrisburg, I fully recognize there is much work to be done.
As a legislator, I plan to focus on cutting government waste,
fraud, and spending. In these times of economic distress, hard-
working Pennsylvania families have had to do more with less.
State government must do the same and make sure each dollar Representative Marcy Toepel is sworn in as the
