Natural Gas Dehydration Processing

Course objective:

Generally this course is specific for process engineers which are involved in the gas
processing facilities.
The attendee will be able to:
Understanding the natural gas behaviors to simplify the processing concept
and built up their specific career.
Investigate the production problems and how to be familiar with the gas
processing trouble shooting.
Understanding the recovery reclamation process.

Law of Partial Pressures, Temperature, Temperature Scale, Molecular Weight, Ideal
Gas Law & Gas Density
Phase Behavior of natural gas: One component system (Pure Component), Tow
component system, Multi Component System & Phase Equilibrium calculations.
Gas Dehydration & Hydrate Prevention Methods:

Gas hydrates & Hydrate formation conditions, Hydrate prevention by Chemical,


Methanol/Glycol comparison, Glycol type selection, Glycol Dehydration Process,
Glycol reclamation process, solid desiccant Dehydration methods, Desiccant choice,
Dehydration steps, Adsorption, Process description.
