The Will Chinese Drama

It is a story set on the changing landscape of Singapore at its crossroad, reflecting on the
leadership challenges in the past 50 years and post era of Mr Lee Kuan Yew. The Chinese
Church in Singapore is also at a crossroad. Should it transform itself amidst an ageing
congregation and ebbing influence? Or it has it accomplished its purpose and mission for
the Gospel after serving two generations of believers. Individual Christians are also at their
crossroads as they will encounter challenges and trials and meet with failures and despair
too.

Through the lenses of Jeremiah, this play hopes to bring out how foundational Christian
values are established through suffering and how Christians today can be encouraged to
endure and keep their hopes alive in Christ in the midst of tribulations and persecutions.

What this drama seeks to bring to its viewers is not how much we are leaving behind to our
future generations, rather, what we are leaving behind for them. Likewise, it is not how much
our next generation will inherit from us, but what are they inheriting?

Please come and experience the drama specially presented to the Christian and general
public and to engage in building our nation!
