CT STUDY OF HEAD

Infratentorial

Cerebellopontine angle and prepontine cisterns are seen normally.

Fourth ventricle is normal in size and midline in location.

Cerebellar parenchyma and brain stem appears to be normal.

Supratentorial

Hyperdense area of blood density is seen in left basal ganglionic region. This area
measures 29 x 26 mm in size..

Cortical sulci are prominent.

Basal cisterns are seen normally.

Third and lateral ventricles are prominent..

No midline shift is seen.

No fracture is seen.

OPINION:

LEFT BASAL GANGLIONIC BLEED .


AGE RELATED MLD DIFFUSE CEREBRAL ATROPHY.

Clinical correlation is necessary
