Dear Fourth and Fifth Grade Families,

Due to the amazing and overwhelming response to our choir auditions, we
will be changing when auditions will be held. I am thrilled at the number of students
who want to audition and understand their frustration at not knowing when it is their
turn. I hope this change helps to alleviate some anxiety!
Beginning tomorrow, classroom teachers will be assigned a day to audition. If
your student has already auditioned they will not need to do it again. Please look
for your students homeroom teacher on this list:
Friday, Aug 18- Turner Tue, Aug 29- Holcomb
Tue, Aug 22- Paschall Wed, Aug 30- Schneider
Wed, Aug 23- Hodell Thurs, Aug. 31- Martin
Thurs, Aug 24- Yarbrough Tue, Sept. 5- Mays
Fri, Aug 25- Crosby Wed, Sept. 6- Williams
Mon, Aug 28- Butterfield Thurs, Sept. 7- Stevens
Fri, Sept. 8- makeups

There is a makeup day listed for those who may miss their audition day due to
illness or an excused absence. Remember, they must have the original letter signed
before they can audition. Additional letters are in my classroom.

Once we have all students auditioned, we can begin rehearsals. Our new
estimated date is Thursday, September 14. Letters will go home with students that
are invited to join the choir that week. I look forward to working with your students
and thank you for continued patience as we get this program off the ground and
SOARing!
