BE it enacted I:I the Tenth Year of t l ~ cRepublic of Tndin
as follows :-

Short title 1. (I) This Act may be called thc Payment of Wagcs
and extent, (l[Tarnil Nadu] Amendment) Act, 1959.
(2) Tt extends to the whole of the 3[State of Tamil
Nadul.
Amendment 2. In clause (ii) of section 2 of the Payment of Wages
Of section2*,
Central Act Act, 1936 (rmtral Act IV of 1936) (hereinafter referred
IV of 1936. to as the principal Act),--.
(i) in item 4(a), after the words "omnibus service",
the words "or motor or other transport undertaking"
. shall be added ;

1936, in its application to the State of Tamil Nadu.
BE it enacted by the Legisleture of tlx Stt.te of Tamil Nadu
in the Twenty-fifth Year of the Republic of India as

An Act further to Amend the Payment of wages Act 1936rn its Application f o the Stofe of

BE it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Tamil Nadu in the
Fiftieth Year of the Republic of India as follo~vs:-

1. (1) This Act may be called the Payment of Wages (Tamil Nadu Amendment) Short title,
Act, 1999. extent and

2. After sectton 18 of the Payment cf Wages Act, 1936, the following section Insertion of
