STRESS MANAGEMENT CROSSWORD CREATION

Grade 6

1. 7 items from the Stress Management Notes (A Plan to Manage
Stress) and 3 items from the Time Management Notes. (10 total items)

2. All words must be connected like the average crossword puzzle.

3. Use the most significant key word in the statement for the puzzle
answer. (Do not use words such as and, the, for, etc.)

4. Clues can be fill in the blank or in question form.

5. Sketch out a rough draft in pencil. Your final draft should be

completed with a ruler and pen/marker. Notebook paper or graph paper
may be used; it may be easier with the lines.

6. Due in the beginning of class on __________________. You will

have class time to work on it.

7. Someone will actually complete your puzzle so do not write the

answers on the final product. (Write the answers on your rough draft
and that will be used as your grading key once a classmate has
completed your puzzle.)

8. If necessary, you may have 2 of the same numbers if one is down

and one is across.

9. Phrases should not be used for answers, only one word or

hyphenated answers.

10. This will be a Classwork/Homework grade so do your best. Make

sure it is neat, organized, and a ruler is used to create your lines.
