What is UIDAI?
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) is a
statutory authority established under the provisions of the Aadhaar
(Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and
Services) Act, 2016 (Aadhaar Act 2016) on 12 July 2016 by the
Government of India, under the Ministry of Electronics and
Information Technology (MeitY).
Organizational Structure
Unique Identification Authority of
India (Authority/UIDAI) has its Headquarters (HQ) in New
Delhi and eight Regional Offices (ROs) across the
country. UIDAI has two Data Centres, one at Hebbal
(Bengaluru), Karnataka and another at Manesar (Gurugram),
Haryana
Earlier its tagline was Aam Aadmi ka Adhikar but now it has
been changed to Mera Aadhaar, Meri Pehchan.

Goa, a tiny emerald land on the west coast of India, the 25th state
of the Union states of India, was liberated from Portuguese rule
in 1961. It was a part of Union Territory of Goa, Daman & Diu till
30th May 1987 when it was carved out of form a separate state.
Goa covers an area of 3702 square kilometers and comprises two
Revenue district viz North Goa and South Goa. Boundaries of Goa
State are defined in the North Terekhol river which separates it
from Maharashtra, in the East and South by Karnataka State and
West by The Arabian Sea. Goa lies in Western Coast of India and

Delhi is the one state of the northern India and shares bordering

name is narrated to a King called Raja Dhillu who ruled the area

NORTH-EAST.
North-east India falls in the distinctive part of Indo Burma
hotspots which ranks 6th among the 25 biodiversity region of the
world. The region is a treasure trove for herbs, plants, animals and
microbial resources. Despite of all the natural resources, North
East remain one of the most secluded terrain of India with all the
possibilities of economy rise. Realizing that some one has to take
the initiative first, Association for Promoting North-East India
(APNEI) stepped forward with unique ideas and concepts to
attract attention of globetrotters to this part of the world.
North-East India lie deep in the lap of easternmost Himalayan hills
in north-eastern part of India. Connected to rest of India by merely
20 km of wide land (at Siliguri, West Bengal) the North-East India
shares over 2,000 km of border with Bhutan, China, Myanmar and
