802.1d Topology Change
A topology change is triggered by:
Learning Forwarding (and at least one Designated Port)
Learning Blocking
Port becomes disabled.
Process is NOT triggered by a port configured with PortFast.
Any event above triggers creation/transmission of
Topology Change Notification (TCN)
Transmitted on Root Port until acknowledged.

TCN Root Bridge Actions
What does the Root Bridge do when receiving
a TCN?
Sets TC-Flag when transmitting BPDUs into that
VLAN.
Those BPDUs are now called, Topology Change BPDUs.
Continues transmitting TC-BPDUs for Forwarding_Delay
+ Max_Age (35-secs)
Reduces its own CAM Aging time to Forwarding Delay
for the affect VLAN.

TC-BPDU: Non-Root Bridge Actions
What do Non-Root Bridges do when receiving a
TC-BPDU?
Reduce CAM Aging Time = Forwarding-Delay
Any MAC addresses within affected VLAN not heard
from during this time are flushed from CAM/MAC
Address-Table.
