LESSON PLAN: Third lesson, 11th August, 2017.

Students: Roldn Grecia, Yorgovan Ramiro

Topic: Family

Aims: To practice previous vocabulary completing the blanks in an activity from the book,
drawing their own family on extra worksheets and playing the Bingo family game.

Objectives: By the end of the lesson the children will have consolidated the vocabulary,
use the expression of this is and draw their own family.

Grammar: this is

Vocabulary: Mother, mum, father, dad, brother, sister, grandma, grandpa, uncle, aunt,
cousin.

Course: 5th grade B & D

Time: 40 minutes

Materials:

Poster
Workbook
Photocopies
First activity: To begin with the class we are going to work with an exercise from the book in which
they have to complete a family tree completing the blanks, in order to consolidate the vocabulary
of the previous lessons.

Second ACTIVITY:

Afterwards we are going to introduce the expression this is with an activity from the book in
which they will have to complete blanks.

Third Activity:

Then, in the following activity will provide the children with a photocopy of a car in which they will
have to draw their own family.

Fourth ACTIVITY:

After drawing the families we will ask them to describe them in simple written sentences using the
expression this is my, once they have finished we will stick their drawings on the walls.

Fifth activity: Bingo family game.

To conclude with the lesson we will play a game called Family Bingo. We will provide the children
with a photocopy to play the bingo. Once we give them the bingo card with the images, students
will have to glue the pictures on the bingo card when the member of the family is mentioned by
the teacher.
