    Stateline Farm Beginnings

    Scholarship Application
    A limited number of partial scholarships are available for this years Stateline Farm Beginnings class. If you are
    interested in applying for a scholarship, please complete these items and include them when sending us your SFB
    application. (All applications MUST BE POSTMARKED by August 15).

    The guidelines that will be used to assess each application are as follows:
    Financial need (40 points)
    Passion/ Capacity for farming (40 points)
    Ability/ Willingness to give back to the program (20 points)

    Please Include:
    1. Statement of need for a scholarship: (Please limit to 1 page typed)
    o Please address your financial need, your passion/ capacity for farming, ability/ willingness to
    give back to the program.
    o Please state the dollar amount you are requesting- (remember to keep in mind that payment
    plans are possible to spread payments over the winter seminars)

    2. A copy of your most recent tax return

    3. A Net Worth Statement (see attached)

    PLEASE NOTE: Your application materials will be confidential, reviewed only by the scholarship
    committee.
