Routel is using for fix the spider in the point-fixed glass curtain wall system.

It
has the function of holding glass panel and provides support to glass panel. Its
advantage is to reduce the glass deformation and deflection by rotating the ball
device.
Installation steps:
1. Take down all the components, rount nut (5), nut (11) and excentric gasket
(10).
2. Press glass tightly by round nut (5) after the base plate (1) of routel (includes
aluminium sleeve - 4) through the glass hole position.
3. Adjust hex nut (8), spring washer (9) and excentric gasket (10) to the
required position during installation
4. Put excentric gasket (10) into spider and adjust to the install direction that
needed; the flat hole is lateral if it take load, or the flat hole is vertical and
keep long hole downward; fasten the routel to the spider.
5. Adjust hex nut (8), spring washer(9) and excentric gasket (10) to the
required position during installation.
6. Finally, sealed with silicone adhesive on the contact place of clamp and
glass to preavent leaking.

Notes
1. Please avoid colliding, scraping during unloading.
2. One should be carefully handed when install the glass panel.
3. Avoid contact directly between glass and metal, pad with flexible gasket
or cushion block.
4. Hold the spanner when adjust and thighten nut ( item 8 & 11) to prevent
the internal barrel and screw from rotating at the same time than can lead
to the internal barrel droping
5. The adjustable angle should be controlled within the scope of 5. If
exceeds this regulation variable, the ball device may not rotate and leads
to glass broken with the effect of wind load.
6. During the construction, if the surface is adhered with dirt not easy to
remove, de not scrape it by metal to avoid the damage of the protective
film on the surface of stainless steel.
7. Clean the surface of stainlees steel fitings regulary to avoid rusting
because the surface of stainless steel fittings under construction and
regular use will become rust affect by rain moist air once the dust
accumulate on it.
