Letters of the month:

Practice in the class: We will learn one letter every week and on the last week we will
review all of the letters. For each letter, I will show students pictures starting with each
letter. Additionally, each letter will also have a theme and a project. For example, for A
we will focus on (star) and do craft projects on stars. This month, we will do oral
exercises and learn basic things such as how to say Whats your name? and How are
you? in Greek. Everyday, we will practice the calendar, days of the week, seasons,
weather, months and years. I will ask questions in Greek and students will answer back
in Greek. We will also learn and sing about colors and numbers in Greek and also learn
Greek folk songs and play games.

Color of the month: Yellow

Numbers of the month: 1 and 2 | We will do activities associated with these numbers.

Theme of the month: My Greek School

We will learn how to say in Greek things such as books, pencils, notebooks, classroom,
teacher and more.

Religion
We will learn about: (Nativity of Theotokos) and
( Elevation of Cross)
