Historya is an interpretative dance they perform about the past or the history and the important

dates of the Philippines. It teaches us more of what happened before and what country colonize us. They
delivered their message about the history and festivals through dancing accompanied by many kinds of
music.

Last Monday August 14, 2017. The historya dancers performed in Ugnayang La Salle. They
showed that many nations colonize us. Spain, China, Japan, and America, these are the countries that is
colonized our country. They explained carefully of what happened in every country. The historya also
showed the thre archipelago Luzon, Visayas, and Mindano. The historya showed on how to Harana the
girls. The performers also showed on how to dance the tinikling, sayaw sa bangko, and manlalatik. They
highlight the top three famous festivals in the Philippines, these are the Maskara, Sinulog, and the Ati-
atihan.

In Mindanao it generalizes the muslim and the biggest mosque in the Philippines. They showed
how they worship Allah and their cultures. They also highlight typhoon Yolanda and showed how big, is
the tragedy in the Philippines. Historya give their best performing and they also give such an effort to
their props and equipments used in the play.
