PERSONAL DETAILS

My name is Bongiswa Gift Ntshangase I am 19 years old and I was born in 1998 13
February, I come from Mpumalanga Nkomazi in a small village called Madadeni. I
am from a healthy family with five siblings and I am the last born. I have a two years
old daughter, my family is big I have uncles, cousins and grandparents.

I am a friendly person and I have a sweetheart. I dont like people with empty
promises and who talk bad things about me behind my back. In my spare time I like
watching television, reading and going out with friend
ACADEMIC

I started school at Mgobodi Primary School in 2004 and I completed my intermediate

phase in 2010. I started high school in 2011 where I completed my matric in 2015 at
Dlamadoda high school. When I was primary I participated in sport and I did reading
and speeches because I am good in that.

I am a very hard worker and committed when it comes to my school work and that
help me to pass with high levels. I chose general subject in grade ten and my
favourite subject was geography and tourism because I like travelling, exploring the
world and learning new things but I always passed well mathematical literacy I guess
I am good with numeracy and logical thinking

I passed well my matric with a bachelors degree am I am now studying at Tshwane

University of Technology.
TEACHING AND PHILOSOPHY

I am student-teacher at Tshwane University of Technology North Campus. I chose

teaching because I am very passionate with learners and want to see them having a
bright future. My principal is also the reason why I chose teaching, I liked the way he
handled learners, teachers and the whole school and he is also my role model

As a teacher, learners, parents and the community see a role model in you and a
person who is going to change their childrens life and the community which is
exactly what I am going to do. I am going to be an ideal teacher who put her
learners needs first.

I want to be one of the best teachers in the country and I know I will achieve that
because is something I was born with and I love with all my heart.
TEACHING PRACTISE

Teaching practise was the most wonderful and challenging experience in my life. It
was very challenging dealing with learners and it taught me a lot about my
profession and about life because as a teacher you are also a counsellor and
learners come to you for advises and to talk about their personal problems and they
expect you to give them matured advices.

It is great feeling knowing that learners and the community look up to you and see a
role model in you so I can say teaching practise taught me a lot about life and I am
looking forward to be a professional teacher.

It also taught me to be very patience and tolerant because when you dealing with
learners you must be very passionate with them and give them a non coercive
discipline. It also upgraded my knowledge about the subjects I was teaching them, I
teaching Life orientation. Computer application technology and mathematical
literacy.

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

I am good in sport, I like playing netball which I do in my spare time. I also

participated in athletics at primary school but I had to quite it when I reach my high
school because of lot of school work so I didnt have enough time to go practise. I
am also good in dancing so as a teacher I am going to be a couch of netball in my
school

COMMUNITY PROJECTS

I participated in a community project where we were helping at a home base care.

We cleaned the yard and help them to cook and dish food for the children. It feel
good knowing that you help with something at your community.
FUTURE INSPIRATION AS A TEACHER

I see myself being a successful teacher after some years to come when I have
completed my degree. I want to make my family proud of me and someone the
community look up to. I want to inspire learners to study and reach their goals no
matter how hard the situation at home is.

I want to improve my community and make it a better place. I will build an orphanage
and a youth centre where the youth will meet and talk about their goals and daily
inspiration. I want to be a positive impact in my community.
