 What is the Navajo Mission Trip?
Shepherd of the Hills has had a long standing
relationship with the Navajo Mission. In the past
we have done yearly major construction work
and now we are wanting to build closer
relationships with the Navajo people in hopes of
repeated mission trips there.
 Dates:
Thursday, July 12, 2018 Leave from Shepherd
8am, arrive after 7pm at hotel.
Friday, July 13, 2018 On Site for Service.
Saturday, July 14, 2018 On Site for Service.
Sunday, July 15, 2018 Worship, Recreation and
Service
Monday, July 16, 2018 Leave from Site and
arrive after 7pm at Shepherd.
Age Requirements:
SHYP Those going into 9th Grade and those that
have just graduated 12th Grade.
Family Ministry All ages but will have to come
with their parent(s) and be supervised by them.
Possible Schedules and Service while on Site:
One day VBS with community children
Light construction project
Community firewood gathering
Ladies quilting project
Basketball/Soccer Camp
Hang out time with Navajo children

Approximate Cost (estimate):
Food (traveling)$40 ($10 per meal x 4 meals)
Food (on site) $60 ($10 per meal x 6 meals)
(Breakfast free at hotel)
Hotel $340
(Window Rock Quality Inn 4 nights x $85)
(Double Room so 4 people can stay in one room. /4=$85)
Shirt $20
Travel $20 or your own gas
(SHYP in Church van, Families taking their own
vehicles.)
Total $225
(Food may be cheaper the more people we
have.)
Commitment:
$50.00 per person/family non-refundable
