The Basics!
Hi! My name is Mrs. Elvia Perez! I have been living in the Westside my entire life. From
Venice to West L.A., back to Venice to Culver City, and back to Mar Vista. I enjoy
traveling and spending as much quality time as possible with my family. I come from a
baseball family, although I never had any brothers, only two sisters, we all developed my
fathers love for baseball. I hope to visit all the baseball stadiums one day. So far I have
visited 7. I look forward to another Dodgers championship in my lifetime. I vividly
remember the 1988 series! I also play fantasy football. I will be your childs 4th/5th
teacher for the 2017-2018 school year! I have been a teaching at Walgrove since 2004.
Pretty awesome to teach where you grew up in. Looking forward to an amazing year!

MY CHILDHOOD!
I grew up in the West Los Angeles, Venice area. I
attended Richland Elementary, Broadway
Elementary, Windward School, and then Venice
High School. I havent moved far at all from my
childhood upbringing. As a child, I enjoyed the
independence of walking home from school and
playing up and down the streets of our MY FAVORITES!
neighborhood until the streetlights came on. Had
thousands of ice cream cones from Thriftys for 19 Food: Pizza
cents! Those were definitely the days! Movie: Grease (VHS alumni,
enough said)
MY EDUCATION! Color: Pink/Green

In 2004, I received my B.A. in Liberal Season: Summer
Studies/Teaching Credential & in 2010, I received Destination: Cancun
my M.A. in Educational Administration and Sports: Dodgers Baseball
Preliminary Administrative Credential, all from Fast Food: Mc Donalds
CSUN. A loyal Matador! Fun fact, I was very Singer/Group: Gwen Stefani/No
