Field of Study Description:
A graphic designer uses visual elements to communicate messages through print and electronic
media. He or she may design magazines and newspapers, websites, packaging, video games,
promotional displays and marketing materials. Graphic designers work for advertising,
publishing and design firms. Some freelance, which means they work on a job-by-job basis,
usually for different clients.

Screenshots of a completed tutorial in 2 softwares/technologies specific to this field of

study (ie: ArcGIS Online/Desktop, GPS unit, other approved field specific software)

Learning Community involvement: You must create a tutorial/instructional video, host

a hands-on workshop or demonstration (in class), or write a step-by-step tutorial
complete with specific instructions and screenshots (something that I can use to learn
this process).
