Hello Parents and Guardians,

My name is Hallie Utter and I will be completing my student teaching

in your childs classroom this semester! In order to complete all of
my teaching requirements, I will be switching between Mrs. Boyds
and Mrs. Larsons classrooms. I will be teaching Math and Science
with Mrs. Boyd and English Language Arts and Social Studies with
Mrs. Larson. Im very excited for this opportunity and am looking
forward to getting to know you and your child!

The past four years I attended Ferris State University where I

studied Elementary Education with minors in English Language Arts
and Mathematics. At Ferris State, I was a part of the Ferris State
Varsity Softball team, the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and
the Student Michigan Education Association. I am originally from
Howell, MI and my hobbies include playing and coaching sports,
fishing, reading and drawing.

During this semester, I am looking forward to learning more about

the teaching profession and getting the chance to assimilate what I
have learned so far. I plan on challenging myself by incorporating
more hands-on activities that excite and engage students in learning
while also integrating more technology into the curriculum.
