INT. WOODS - NIGHT

In the woods, not too far from the outskirts of the city,
there is a house built in the middle of a clearing.

INT. REXS HOUSE - CONTINUOUS

A girl, roughly 18, is trapped in a room inside of the house.

She is unconscious. She shortly wakes up. She is chained to a
bed and restricted to minimum movement.

After observing the chains and her surroundings to be in an

unknown area, she panics and screams for help. She shortly
resorts to crying.

The door opens. A man named Rex, in his late 30s walks in. He
is fat with his face hidden. After she sees his hideous face
she screams. Rex slowly walks towards her.

A host of sharp instruments is placed on a table next to the

bed. Hammers, machetes, axes, etc. Rex takes up an ax and
continues walking towards her. She is in fear. Rex slowly
crawls on top of her while she struggles to get free but the
chains are secure.

EXT. REX'S HOUSE - LATER

Rex holds the corpse of the girl over his shoulder as he

walks. Her body is brutalized with bruises and open wounds.
She is dead. He walks over to a container of acid. He puts
the girl in the container to destroy the body. He watches it
dissolve. He walks back into his house and closes the door.

INT. JOHNSONS HOUSE - DAY

The Johnsons family gets up to start their day. Ryan,

Victoria, both in their late 30s and their daughter Lilian.

INT. KITCHEN - CONTINUOUS

Victoria is in the kitchen making breakfast for the family.

Ryan is getting ready for work. He walks into the kitchen and
kisses her on the cheek.

RYAN
Good morning honey.

VICTORIA
Good morning dear.

RYAN
Hmm, this smells good.

VICTORIA
Why thank you.

RYAN
Where is that girl?

VICTORIA
Lily!

INT. BEDROOM - CONTINUOUS

VICTORIA (V.O.)
Lily, breakfast, get up!

Lilian, a shy 21-year old that wears glasses, is in her

bedroom sleeping on the bed. She is awoken by the noise. She
grabs her alarm clock to check the time.

LILIAN
Shit, I forgot to set it.

She falls back on the bed.

VICTORIA (V.O.)
Lily!

LILIAN
Im coming, mom.

INT. DINNER TABLE - LATER

Victoria and Ryan are at the dinner table eating their

breakfast. Lilian walks in.

RYAN
Are you ready for school Lily?

LILIAN
I hate school.

VICTORIA
Why do you always say that?

LILIAN
Because I do.

RYAN
We didnt save up so much money to
send you to college just for you to
say you hate it. Education is the
best. Its the only way out of
poverty.

LILIAN
I have a diploma.

RYAN
Well, thats not good enough Lily.
Not in this modern world. And
school is fun.

LILIAN
Not when you have the shitty
friends I do.

RYAN
Well if theyre shitty then they
arent your friends.

LILIAN
Sometimes you have no choice but to
pair up with the enemy, dad.

VICTORIA
Its your classmates youre talking
about, right?

LILIAN
No, everyone.

VICTORIA
Arent you going to that Halloween
party?

LILIAN
No ones going to invite me.

VICTORIA
Why not?

LILIAN
Because Im a loser. I have to work
anyway.

RYAN
Hey, youre more popular than you
think.

LILIAN
Trust me, Im not.

VICTORIA
Dont let anyone lower your self-
esteem.

RYAN
Victoria, enough... Eat some
breakfast youre running late.

Lilian sits down at the table and digs in.

VICTORIA
When are you going back to your
apartment?

RYAN
It doesnt make sense if youre
paying rent and still staying here.

LILIAN
I still live there. I just wanted
to see my parents. I miss them.

VICTORIA
Aww, thats sweet.

RYAN
You know well always love you no
matter what.

LILIAN
Yes, dad.

RYAN
And were happy to see you too.

LILIAN
Thanks.

Ryan gets up.

RYAN
Excuse me.

He walks away from the dinner table. Lilian watches as Ryan

walks away. She then looks at Victoria.

LILIAN
Mom, I might need some extra cash
for rent this month.

VICTORIA
Okay, Ill see what I can do.

LILIAN
Thanks.

VICTORIA
Werent you suppose to ask your
boss for that raise?

LILIAN
Yeah - I got too scared. I didnt.

VICTORIA
You shouldnt be afraid to talk to
your boss. I mean who else could
you talk to?

LILIAN
I dont know.

VICTORIA
Its either yes or no.

LILIAN
I know.

Victoria holds Lilian by her head and kisses her on the

forehead.

VICTORIA
Hurry up, school.

LILIAN
Right.

EXT. COLLEGE - MORNING

A school bus drives past the school on the road.

INT. COLLEGE - MOMENTS LATER

The college is busy as the students walk back and forth

throughout the school. Some attending their class while
others are just having fun. Lilian is walking down the
walkway within a crowd of students. Ivory walks to her.

IVORY
Hey, Lily.

LILIAN
Hey, Ivy.

They briefly hug.

IVORY
Had you a nice sleep?

LILIAN
Sort of. I was at my moms.

IVORY
Your moms? What are you a kid?

LILIAN
No, I just wanted company. You know
I live alone.

IVORY
You could have called me over.

LILIAN
You know I cant do that all the
time.

IVORY
Yeah, most times Im busy.

LILIAN
I dont want to be a burden.

IVORY
You cant be. Youre my best
friend.

LILIAN
You are too.

IVORY
Great.

LILIAN
Ive just been lonely for the past
couple of weeks. I thought to have
your own apartment was the college
thing to do but its boring.

IVORY
Everyone wants to get out of their
mothers house. Some get thrown
out.

LILIAN
But I dont want to.

IVORY
Do you always want to be mommys
little girl?

LILIAN
So what? At least I wouldnt have
to pay rent.

IVORY
Rent isnt that bad. Mine is
actually good.

LILIAN
Because you live out of the city.

IVORY
Then get a place out of the city
then, shit.

LILIAN
None was available.

IVORY
Well, it sucks to be you then.

LILIAN
Ill figure it out.

IVORY
I know what you need.

LILIAN
What?

IVORY
Some dick?

LILIAN
Really?

IVORY
When last did you get some dick?

LILIAN
I...

IVORY
Some good dick?

LILIAN
I... I cant remember.

IVORY
Because you dont. You need a man.
There are so many thirsty boys in
this college, look for one.

But I dont want a thirsty college
boy.

IVORY
At least hell provide for your
needs now.

LILIAN
I take relationships seriously.

IVORY
My ass - Youre looking for Mr.
right, good luck. Im just going
for the ride.

LILIAN
Down for whatever.

IVORY
Thats right until the time comes.

LILIAN
By that time everyone would see me
like a whore.

IVORY
I didnt tell you to join Brazzers.
Get easy boy friends. Feel them
out. Then youll know what to do.
You might even find love by
accident.

Lilian thinks for a while.

IVORY (CONTD)
Hey, Ive got to go this way. Ill
see you in class.

LILIAN
Later.

Ivory walks away.

INT. CLASSROOM - CONTINUOUS

The students are making noises in the classroom with their

chatter and laughter. The teacher is not present. Lilian
walks in. She looks at the students that are present but
focuses on one boy named Tyler, 21 years old. He is talking
among his friends.

She looks at him while she walks, not paying attention and
bumps into Anna, her bully. Shes the same age.

ANNA
Watch where youre going, Lilian.

LILIAN
Im sorry Anna.

Anna pushes her out of the way and continues walking.

ANNA
Dyke.

Tyler watches Lilian then turns away and continues to talk to

his friends. Lilian, now embarrassed walks to her seat.

She sits down and puts her bag by the side of her desk. She
takes out her text and copy books that she will need for the
class and place them on the desk. Anna walks by and kicks her
bag.

LILIAN
Hey.

Anna ignores her and continues walking.

LILIAN (CONTD)
(softly)
Bitch.

Lilian goes back into her bag and takes out a snack and eats
it. Anna returns and grabs her bag and throws it on the
teachers desk. The classroom laughs including Anna. Lilian
looks up at her.

IVORY
Hey!

Ivory stands toe to toe with Anna.

IVORY (CONTD)
Now, why would you go and do that?

ANNA
What are you her bodyguard?

IVORY
Yes - Thats my friend.

ANNA
What are you going to do about it?

They face off. Shortly, the teacher walks in.

TEACHER
Lilian, no eating in class.

LILIAN
Sorry.

The teacher hustles to his desk.

TEACHER
Everyone find a seat. Im already
late. That includes you two Anna
and Ivory.

IVORY
No problem.

Anna and Ivory go to their seat.

TEACHER
Whats this bag doing here? Whose
bag is this?

LILIAN
Um, mine.

The teacher throws the bag at Lilian. She tries to catch it

but misses and it falls on the floor.

ANNA
Awkward.

TEACHER
It looks like you wanted to teach
the class. I should recommend that
when Im running late.

ANNA
Geek.

Lilian looks at Anna with an angry face.

TEACHER
Alright, Algebra.

INT. LOCKERS - LATER

Lilian is walking towards her locker with Ivory.

LILIAN
I just cant stand her.

IVORY
Hey, girl, Ive got your back no
matter what.

LILIAN
She called me a dyke.

IVORY
Well you know Im not into that. I
love that dick.

LILIAN
Shes going to get hers one day.

Lilian opens her locker and place her books inside and takes
out what she needs.

IVORY
I might be the one to give it to
her. I hate bullies.

LILIAN
Youre so tough, its a good thing
youre not a bully.

IVORY
I dont have time with that.

LILIAN
I wish I were more like you -
strong.

Tyler walks towards Lilian.

IVORY
Just be brave. Thats all theres
to it.

TYLER
Hey.

Lilian looks back and sees its Tyler. She is shocked.

LILIAN
Uh...

TYLER
Not your best day huh?

LILIAN
No, not exactly.

They pause for a moment. Lilian smiles.

TYLER
Hey, are you going to the Halloween
party? James is hosting it.

LILIAN
Yeah, I would love to but Ive got
to work.

TYLER
Oh, thats a shame.

LILIAN
Yeah.

They pause and stare at each other briefly. Lilian is in an

awkward moment.

TYLER
Ill see you around.

LILIAN
Yeah.

Tyler walks away.

IVORY
Hmm, look at that.

Ivory bites her bottom lip.

LILIAN
Oh my god.

IVORY
At least he cares.

LILIAN
Oh my god.

IVORY
What?

LILIAN
Did he just talk to me?

IVORY
I... think so?

LILIAN
I never expected that. I didnt
know what to say.

IVORY
Yeah - thats why he walked off.
Youre missing your chance girl.

LILIAN
I dont think he likes me.

IVORY
What? He pretty much asked you out
and said let me fuck you.

LILIAN
Hes not going to like a nerd like
me.

IVORY
A nerd? Because you wear glasses?
Dont let people play with your
head... Its either you talk to him
or I will.

They stare at each other.

IVORY (CONTD)
I feel sorry for you. Ill see
after school.

Ivory walks away. Lilian looks at Ivory as she worries then

closes her locker and walks away.

INT. CITY - AFTERNOON

A man walks to a wall on a sidewalk and puts up a poster. The

poster is about a missing person with her picture and contact
information stated. It is the same girl that Rex raped and
killed at his house.

EXT. LILIANS APARTMENT - AFTERNOON

Lilian steps out of an Uber and walks into her apartment.

INT. LILIAN'S APARTMENT - CONTINUOUS

She opens the door and closes it. She is alone. She throws
her bag on the floor and goes in the fridge for her water
bottle. She drinks.

INT. BEDROOM - LATER

She goes into her bedroom and onto her gaming laptop. Her
room shows that shes into gaming, anime, and comics. Theres
a call on her phone. It is her boss from work.

LILIAN
Hey, Andy.

ANDY (V.O.)
Hey, Lily, Ive got a full staff
tonight so you could get the night
off.

LILIAN
Thanks.

ANDY (V.O.)
That is if you still want it.

LILIAN
Um, not really.

INT. ANDYS PIZZA - CONTINUOUS

ANDY
I thought there was a party going
on at your college for Halloween.

INT. BEDROOM - CONTINUOUS

LILIAN
Yeah.

ANDY (V.O.)
Dont you want to go?

LILIAN
I dont even know, to be honest.

ANDY (V.O.)
Whats wrong?

LILIAN
I want to talk to you about
something.

INT. ANDY'S PIZZA - CONTINUOUS

ANDY
Hey, relax. Go to the party, enjoy
yourself tonight and well talk
tomorrow.

INT. BEDROOM - CONTINUOUS

LILIAN
Okay - Thank you, sir.

INT. ANDY'S PIZZA - CONTINUOUS

ANDY
No problem.

Andy hangs up his phone.

ANDY (CONTD)
Alright boys, lets get these
pizzas ready.

INT. BEDROOM - CONTINUOUS

Lilian hangs up her phone and ponders. She then goes on the
bed and lays down on the left side. She rubs the other side
of the bed with her hand as if someone is there. She grabs
the other pillow and clutches on to it with her arms and
legs.

EXT. STREET - NIGHT

It is Halloween night and the children are trick or treating.

They walk up and down the street, house to house begging for
candy from the grown ups.

A group of children, all dressed up for the occasion goes to

a home. One knocks on the door.

CHILDREN
Trick or treat!

An adult female opens the door. She has a basket in her hand

LADY
Hey, kids.

CHILD
Hi maam
