How to request Maintenance Certificate in SAP Market Place.

Go to service.sap.com and login using OSS ID user found in our KeePass.

Once you are login in SAP Home Page.

Click

Fill up the Installation Number field:


Put the Installation Number: (for this example EVH)

This can be found in NWA as shown below:

You will noticed that the license status is INVALID


*************************************************************************************

Once verified, proceed in requesting Maintenance Certificate.

Get/copy the Installation Number: e.g. 0020922334 (EVH)


Click icon

Click the System that you want to request for Maintenance Certificate: (for this example EVH)
You will noticed that the Maintenance Entitlement date is outdated or expired.

Select Maintenance Entitlement

Click icon

Fill up the required fields as shown below.

Click icon

Select Maintenance Entitlement


Click icon

You will noticed that in Valid until*: field was automatically populated.

Click icon and then select Maintenance Entitlement

Click icon

Maintenance Entitlement is now updated.

Select Maintenance Entitlement


Click icon to download license key to file or preferred target destination

Select Save as

Click Save

Before Installing the Maintenance Certificate edit the generated SID.txt (for this example EVH) file that
you have saved from your preferred local directory.

Remove the below highlighted text:


Explanation why we remove the said text: J2EE Engine License is already applied in the system.

Hint: SWPRODUCTNAME=J2EE-Engine_HDB

Once the above mentioned text has been removed.

Save the SID.txt file again:

Click Save

Check again the SID.txt file. It will only show the maintenance certificate

Hint: SWPRODUCTNAME=Maintenance_HDB

After validating the content, proceed on installing the Maintenance Certificate

From NWA:
Click

Click Browse

Click Open

Click Add
