Circular on Fall 2017-2018 Weekend Intrasemester (FWI)

In order to help the students to clear their backlogs, students are given opportunity to register for
courses that will be offered in the weekends (Saturday and Sunday). The details regarding course
registrations and other requirements for the Fall 2017-2018 Weekend Intrasemester (FWI) are given
below:

[1] Both CAL and non-CAL students are eligible to register for the courses

[2] Only courses with Y / F can be registered and therefore fresh courses cannot be registered

[3] Courses offered during regular Fall 2017-2018 will not be offered in the Weekend Intrasemester.

[4] Maximum of 2 courses can be registered

[5] Total number of credits taken in regular Fall 2017-2018 plus Weekend Intrasemester should not
exceed 27 credits

[6] A registration fee of Rs. 6000 / course need to be paid before the said date to ensure the course
registration

[7] There will be no ADD/DROP or Withdrawal for the courses offered in the Intrasemester. It is
necessary to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance (physical presence in the class) to appear for the
continuous assessment and FAT. All other protocols followed will be the same as that of the regular
semester.

[8] The Academic Calender for the Intrasemester will be circulated shortly.
