Love's Labor's Lost
Love's Labor's Lost
1- Set design- I think set design was very basic. I honestly did not like it. I wished if it
was more professional than that. For example the idea of tall grass was not quite
good because I think sometime the grass hampered the actors scenes. (Under
any condition, I feel same way nothing changes, at the same place,.)
2- Lighting- In my opinion, the lighting was not that good because it could reflect
the actors moods or even the climate/atmosphere. Probably the good thing is
the Idea of the sun, it was not that strong but it played a good factor to show
reflects their roles on the show. Actually, I was not convinced by the jewelry that
women were worn at the dancing scene. Because I think it is modern jewelry
which it does not reflect that era. I think the actors dressed a good Muscovites
clothes when the ladies wore the masks ( I totally could not differentiate
poor. The guitar seemed a new brand, that not from that era.
5- The language- I think the language in this show was little bit difficult to
dramatic structures or conflicts. In addition they were too fast with the old
accent.
6- De Armado- the best character I found in the show I think his sense of humor
adds lots for the show, I was waiting for his role. For example when he told
Jaquenetta that he loves her. And also at the end of the show when he fought
with Costard.
7- Seating (stage) - it was Proscenium Theatre - I think the seats were close enough
and important thing loudly, the lords express their loves and expose themselves.
9- At the scene when the princess knows that her father is dead, I think that
moment should be more emotional than I saw. She did not give enough reaction
10- There were a lot of interact with the audiences in this show that I find it good
and bad. It is actually good because it is funny, but sometime I dont like it
because I was afraid to be asked for something that I could not answer.
