ENGLISH FOR YOUNG LEARNERS

Topic : Fruits and Desserts
Grade : 4th grade of Elementary School
Time Allocated : 2 x 45 minutes (1 meeting)
Date : December 7th, 2014

B. LANGUAGE FOCUS
In this meeting, the lesson is focused on:
1. Speaking
- Mentioning kinds of fruits and dessert through given pictures.
- Asking and answering question about fruits and dessert in pair.
- Describing about fruit and dessert (chocolate drizzle fruit stick).
2. Reading
- Reading simple sentences about dessert.
- Matching pictures of fruits and desserts
- Distinguishing between fruits and dessert.

C. STANDARD COMPETENCY
Understanding spoken and written English in the class context about Fruits and
Desserts.

D. BASIC COMPETENCY
- Students are able to mention kinds of fruits and dessert through given pictures
correctly.
- Students are able to ask and answer question about fruits and dessert in pair
